Keep your eyes and ears out when visiting the Audio Forest

The next time you go for a walk in the woods, check out our overview before you set out, so you can learn more about what is going on in front of you – and underneath your feet – in the forest. There’s a lot to discover! All you need beforehand is a QR code scanner from the app store, and of course a smartphone.

  • 1. Walks
The forestry team has set up pillars for visitors at key points and vista points in the forest. These pillars feature QR codes that can be used to access the relevant information in a children’s version and one for adults.
  • 2. Scan the QR code
Use your smartphone’s QR code app to scan the codes that appear on the pillars. The large pillar offers the adult version, while the smaller one features the one for kids.
  • 3. Play the audio clip
Listen to the Audio Forest. Individual clips are geared toward specific locations in the city forest. Listen in to discover a whole new side of the forest! Or you can have your child explain just how important the forest meadow valleys are.
